Welcome to the new Internet website www.logisticseurasia.com.
This website was born together with the idea of the International Business Magazine JŪRA MOPE SEA and a group of logistics companies of Kazakhstan „TL NIKA Group“ and Lithuania to organize an international conference on logistics matters.
 This event is oriented to the fact that in 2010 Kazakhstan begins its chairmanship in European Security and Cooperation Organization (ОSCЕ) – the biggest regional security organization uniting 56 states of Europe, North America and Asia.
Kazakhstan undertakes the chairmanship in ОSCЕ from Greece, and in 2011 it transfers the chairmanship to Lithuania.
Middle Asian state has never been in the chair of this organization during the whole history of ОSCЕ. Lithuania has become the first Baltic state that is going to be in the chair of this influential organization.
Following the main principles of ОSCЕ each state being in the chair chooses priority directions of its activity.
Kazakhstan and Lithuania agreed that during the chairmanship of both countries the priority directions would be transport and transit development.
This period coincides with Kazakhstan state program Way to Europe, the implementation of which was commenced in 2009 and will be completed in 2011.
The success of the transit development Way to Europe in many cases will depend on prudent logistics.
On the eve of Kazakhstanэы chairmanship in ОSCЕ there will take place the international conference on logistics matters, which will be a step to a wider dialogue among the states, business, science and politics about the development of transit.
The event was patronized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania
It is our pleasure to invite you to the conference A Role of logistics on the Way Asia-Europe, which is going to take place on the 29th of January 2010 in Almaty (Kazakhstan), hotel InterContinental Almaty by the address Zheltoksan str. 181.
It will be a one-day conference.
8.30 – registration.
9.30 – opening of the conference.
Character of the conference – discussions` forum.
4 sessions are foreseen. In each session there will be 3-4 10-minutesreports and discussions with 4-5 foreseen panellists and answers to the questions of the participants.
16.50 – adoption of the resolution.
17.00-17.30 – press conference (more detailed agenda with the names of the speakers and participants of the discussions will be announced in the near future).
19.00 – grand ceremony of awards of the magazine JŪRA MOPE SEA Windrose
The awards Windrose of the international business magazine JŪRA MOPE SEA will be handed in four nominations:
- For the input in strengthening of the economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Lithuania
- For the most innovative and successful logistics project in East-West direction
- For the input in international cooperation
- For the input in popularization of logistics science
